What does it look like to hear God's story for the first time?

In the Adelbert Mountains of Papua New Guinea, the Kuyu are hearing the Bible in their own language for the first time. Walking with the Kuyu follows the same 61 lessons being taught among them, Creation to Christ, with Scripture, reflection, and prayer for each day. Walk through God's story. Pray for the Kuyu. Rejoice as God gathers worshipers from every tribe, language, people, and nation. Learn more about the Kuyu ministry.

Our prayer for this devotional

We pray churches, small groups, and families would pick this up together and pray for the Kuyu by name, as the lessons are taught in the village, and that somewhere along the way a reader would look up and see what we've seen: the harvest is still plentiful, the workers are still few, and the field is still open. We hope these devotionals press the question of what part is yours. For some that means praying with new specificity, for some giving, and for a few, going. If they stir even one heart toward the Kuyu, or renew our joy in the commission we've been given, they will have done their work.

Every copy supports the ministry to the Kuyu

All proceeds go toward the ministry among the Kuyu: the teaching of God's Word in the village, the translation of Scripture into their language, and the church being planted there. Every dollar goes back to the Adelbert Mountains.
