“Meaningful Memento”

Trevor Hoffman is the Teaching Pastor for Ridgewood Church in Greer, South Carolina. Trevor came to faith when he was attending Summer Camp as a teenager, enamored by the message of a God who satisfies our deepest need. He became the pastor of Ridgewood Church in 2014 and has used the same Bible for almost every sermon he’s preached there.

“I love being a pastor because I get to teach the Bible and talk about the greatest news imaginable.”

In this video, Trevor shares why he purchased a new Bible in February of 2016, why he needed Scriptura’s Bible Restoration Service, and what he hopes this Bible will accomplish when it becomes a family heirloom someday. For Trevor, repairing and rebinding this Bible was important because he wants it to serve as a “meaningful memento” of God’s work in the life of Ridgewood Church for many years to come.
